I just got a Teredo tunnel (using Miredo) working on my Ubuntu laptop, and managed to get onto the IPv6 internet!
We have a symmetric NAT at home, which was quite confusing for me. A few weeks ago, I attempted using Miredo, but it wasn’t working for some reason. Today, I read that symmetric NATs don’t work with Teredo unless you’re using Windows Vista.
But, I just set the DMZ setting on the router to my IP address, and it works wonders!
Update: Miredo 1.1.0 has an experimental feature for functioning behind a symmetric NAT with no DMZ-mojo.
